Domino 8 is available now!

Early this morning, the Domino 8 product was posted for download to our customers and partners along with the slick new Notes 8 client. Simultaneously we have delivered Domino 8 on Windows, Linux (RHEL and SuSE), AIX, Solaris, iSeries, zOS and zLinux. No other vendors in the email and collaboration space can claim simultaneous delivery on so many operating systems.
Domino is truly unique as a multi platform platform, and this requires tremendous coordination and planning. The Domino team has become so accustomed to doing this with every release, that we at Lotus sometimes tend to take this effort for granted. So I'd like give a big thanks to all the Domino engineering team for reaching this incredible milestone.
Now that the product is out, I hope to have some time to blog more about some interesting features in Domino 8 and answer the popular questions I'm hearing from customers. What Domino related topics would you like to know more about in this blog?

Hi Rob,
From a server resources standpoint (memory usage, cpu usage, etc) how big of a jump is it from Domino 7.0.2 to 8.0.0? Since most of the design changes were on the client side with 8 I was hoping the impact on the server hardware is relatively the same if not slightly improved. Is that a true statement?
